The Kirby Misperton protection camp stood strong for just over a year.
We laughed, we cried. We found our family.
We didn't just make memories, we made history.

One year of local resistance taken the streets with a harp to our voice and a bow to our arrow.
Five years of a nation using our voices with an anchor to our passion and a hope that will never fade.
When democracy is swept beneath our feet, when our human rights are no longer ours to own.
We continue with our song, we continue holding hands.
The love that binds, the vibration that calls.
The strength in numbers and the power in remembering that together we will fulfill our kuleana, malama ka aina.
